Garage door marketing

Marketing for garage door companies: website, local SEO and ads

When a spring snaps at 7 a.m., the homeowner calls one of the first companies they see on the map. When they want a new door, they compare for weeks. We build a site and run the local SEO and ads for both kinds of customer, and make sure the reviews keep coming in. One package, one contact, one invoice.

  • Fixed monthly price, in writing
  • You own the site and accounts
  • No long-term contract
  • Reply within 24 hours

AutoXtra, an auto repair shop in Sweden, not a garage door company: a service page and online booking we built.

Who this is for

Garage door companies that install and repair doors and openers in a defined service area, from owner-operators with one truck to teams with a handful of techs. You run the jobs; we handle how homeowners find you, contact you and leave a review afterwards. It is not built for manufacturers, national franchise brands with their own marketing team, or companies that only sell to builders.

Three jobs stand between you and a full schedule

Showing up when someone needs a repair today, turning that search into a call or a booking, and getting the review that helps you win the next one. Growth takes all three, so your techs stay on the road.

5 → 95
pages, one for each service the shop offersAutoXtra, Sweden
  1. Getting found in your service area

A homeowner with a door stuck halfway searches “garage door repair near me” and calls one of the first three names in the map results. If you are not there, the job goes to whoever is.

    • A custom website with a page for each repair and install you do
    • Local SEO and your Google Business Profile, set up for the towns you actually serve
    • Google and Meta ads aimed at the jobs you want more of
    Handled by Solva
  2. Turning searches into booked jobs

Calls come in while you are up a ladder, and an emergency caller who reaches voicemail just dials the next company. Install customers want photos, options and a way to ask for a quote without a phone call.

    • Booking for service visits and estimates, synced with your Google Calendar
    • Posts from photos and video of your installs, in an agreed amount each month
    • DM replies on Instagram and Facebook, in flows we agree on with you
    Handled by Solva
  3. Earning the next job

In the map results, the company with more recent reviews usually gets the call. Most happy customers will leave one if someone asks while the new door is still fresh in their mind.

    • Review requests after every finished job
    • Newsletters and text messages for tune-ups and seasonal maintenance
    Handled by Solva

No garage door case yet, so here are two local service businesses

We have not worked with a garage door company, and we don’t have a US client yet. These are two Swedish businesses with the same basic problem: customers search for a specific service nearby. Neither had the full Growth package, so there are no ad results to show.

years in business before it had a professional website

A key cutting and shoe repair shop in Uppsala that offers car keys, house keys, shoe repair and dry cleaning but had no professional website. We built one with a clear section for each service and focused the SEO on local searches like “car key Uppsala”.

  • Strong positions on Google for local keywords
  • More calls and enquiries after the launch
  • A clear online presence that matches the shop’s reputation

What it looks like for a garage door company

Examples of how we would set it up, not a client of ours. Your proposal is based on your services, your service area and the jobs you want more of.

Website structure

One page per job you want to be found for, each with what is included, what affects the price and a clear way to call or book.

  • Broken spring repair
  • Garage door opener repair and installation
  • New garage door installation
  • Door off track and cable repair
  • A page for the area you serve, listing the towns you cover

Ad campaigns

Urgent repair searches and new-door shoppers behave differently, so they get separate campaigns, budgets and landing pages.

  • Repairs: “garage door spring repair”, “garage door won’t close”, during the hours you can answer
  • Installs: new doors and openers, with photos of finished jobs, in the months homeowners plan upgrades
  • Meta: reminders to past customers about tune-ups

Booking

Homeowners choose a service visit or an estimate on the page they landed on, and get a confirmation right away.

  • Time slots that match how many techs you have out
  • Separate booking for repairs and install estimates
  • Bookings in your Google Calendar

What’s included, and what isn’t

Everything below is written into your proposal before you sign.

Included in Growth

  • Custom website with one page per repair and install service
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile for your service area
  • Google and Meta ads, run and improved by us
  • Booking for service visits and estimates, synced with Google Calendar
  • Social posts from your photos and video, in an agreed amount
  • DM replies on Instagram and Facebook in agreed flows
  • Newsletters, text messages and review requests
  • A report and a meeting every month

Not included

  • Ad spend: what you pay Google and Meta is separate from our fee
  • AI phone assistant for missed calls, AI chatbot and sales pipeline (those are in our Expansion package)
  • Replacing your dispatch or field service software
  • Unlimited content: the amount is set in your proposal

What we need from you

  • Photos and video of your installs and repairs
  • Your list of services, the door brands you install and which jobs you want more of
  • The towns you serve and the hours you take emergency calls
  • Access to your Google Business Profile, or we set one up in your name

What it costs

We don’t publish one price, because the work depends on your services, your area and how much advertising you want. Your proposal specifies exactly what we deliver each month, your implementation fee, and any separate advertising or usage costs.

Monthly fee
A fixed monthly price for the work listed in your proposal. It does not mean unlimited ads or unlimited content.
Ad spend
What you pay Google and Meta for the ads is separate from our fee. The proposal says how much we recommend for your market.
Getting started
Whether setup costs extra, and how much. If it does, it is a one-time amount stated before you sign.
Content
How many posts, videos and newsletters we produce each month. The scope is set in the proposal.
What we need from you
Photos and video from your jobs, and when we need them.
Canceling
No long-term contract. You cancel with one month’s notice, and your domain, website, content, Google Business Profile and data stay in your name.

What we measure

More clicks are not the goal, and a lead for a job outside your area is worth nothing. Every month we report where calls and bookings came from and what they cost, split into repairs and installs, and you tell us which jobs are worth more of.

  • Calls, form requests and online bookings, by source
  • Cost per booked job from ads, repairs and installs separately
  • Searches and map views on Google
  • New Google reviews

How it works

Questions garage door company owners ask us

What is the best way to advertise a garage door business?

Start where homeowners look when something breaks: Google search and the map results. That means a page for each repair and install, a complete Google Business Profile with recent reviews, and search ads for urgent repairs during the hours you can answer the phone. Installs take longer to decide, so they need photos of your work and a simple way to request an estimate.

How much does garage door marketing cost?

It depends on how many services you offer, how large your service area is and how much advertising you want, so we don’t publish one price. After a free review you get a written proposal with a fixed monthly fee for the listed work. Ad spend is paid separately, and the proposal states any setup fee.

Do I own the website and the accounts?

Yes. The domain, the website, the content, your Google Business Profile and your data are in your name from the start, and they stay with you if you cancel.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. There is no minimum term, and you cancel with one month’s notice.

You’re based in Sweden. Can you work with a garage door company in the US?

Yes. We work remotely and meet over video. Sweden is six to nine hours ahead of US time zones, so calls usually happen in your morning, and we reply within 24 hours on weekdays.

How fast will I see results?

Ads can bring calls soon after they go live, once tracking is in place. Local SEO and reviews take longer, usually months rather than weeks, and depend on your area and competition. We won’t promise a ranking or a number of leads; the monthly report shows what is moving.
