A web agency that builds websites with search built in
Solva is based in Uppsala and works across Sweden. We build in Next.js rather than on ready-made themes, because a site rendered on the server is both faster for the visitor and easier for Google to read.
A web agency designs, builds and runs websites for businesses. The job normally has four parts: design tailored to the business, the technical development of the site itself, content that answers what customers search for, and ongoing visibility in Google after launch. Some agencies cover all four, others only some of them.
- Uppsala as our base, projects across Sweden
- Next.js, server-rendered, not WordPress
- 9 case studies published with names and links
Four parts of a web agency project
Design and code are half the job. Content and local visibility are the other half.
Design
Drawn for the business, not picked from a library. Responsive from mobile upwards, since that is where most of the traffic comes from.
Development
Next.js with server-rendered HTML and the content in a CMS you edit yourselves. No collection of plugins to keep up to date.
Content
Keyword research and pages that answer the question directly. One URL per search intent instead of several thin versions of the same thing.
Visibility
Technical SEO, a Google Business Profile and consistent business details, so the site starts working as soon as it launches.
Where we work
Solva is based in Uppsala and takes on projects across Sweden. Some markets have a page of their own, because the competition there looks different enough to deserve its own answer.

Questions about hiring a web agency
What is the difference between this page and your service page?
This page is the starting point: what a web agency does and where we work. The web development service page describes how we plan the build, what is included and how the process works step by step.
Which places do you work in?
We are based in Uppsala and take on projects across Sweden. Uppsala has its own page because we have built for four businesses in the city, and Kista because it is a distinct market with its own competition. We do not put up a page for every town unless we have something to say on it.
Do you build in WordPress?
No. We build in Next.js with the content in a CMS. That gives server-rendered HTML Google can read straight away, and no plugins that need security updates every month.
Can we edit the content ourselves?
Yes. Text, images and pages live in a CMS your own staff use. The site being built in code does not mean you have to contact us to change a heading.
Do you guarantee first place on Google?
No. No serious agency can guarantee a ranking, because Google decides its own rankings. We guarantee data-driven, transparent work and report on what has been done.
