Pest control marketing

Digital marketing for pest control companies

Homeowners search for the problem in front of them, like ants in the kitchen or a wasp nest by the door, and they usually call whoever shows up first. We build a site that answers those searches, lets people book an inspection online, and run the local SEO and ads that bring them there. One package, one contact, one invoice.

  • Fixed monthly price, in writing
  • You own the site and accounts
  • No long-term contract
  • Reply within 24 hours

AutoXtra, a repair shop in Sweden and not a pest control company: a service page and online booking we built.

Who this is for

Owner-run pest control companies with one office or a few trucks, serving homes and small businesses across a handful of towns. You run the routes and the treatments; we handle how people find you, book you and sign up for regular service. It is not built for national franchises or companies with their own in-house marketing team.

Three jobs stand between you and full routes

Getting found when the problem shows up, turning that first call into a booked inspection, and turning one-time jobs into recurring service. Growth takes all three, so your technicians stay busy all year.

5 → 95
pages, one for each service the business offersAutoXtra, Sweden
  1. Getting found

People search for “termite inspection” or “bed bug treatment” in their town, and towns you cover without a page of their own rarely show up.

    • A custom website with a page for each pest and service you handle
    • Local SEO and your Google Business Profile, for the map results in your service area
    • Google and Meta ads timed to the seasons when each pest shows up
    Handled by Solva
  2. Turning searches into booked inspections

Spring and summer bring more calls than the office can pick up, and a homeowner with wasps by the front door books the next company that answers.

    • Inspection booking on the site, synced with your Google Calendar
    • Posts from photos and video of your work, in an agreed amount each month
    • DM replies on Instagram and Facebook, in flows we agree on with you
    Handled by Solva
  3. Turning one-time jobs into recurring service

A customer pays for one treatment, the problem goes away, and nobody offers a quarterly plan or asks for a review.

    • Review requests after every finished job
    • Newsletters and text messages about seasonal pests and recurring service plans
    Handled by Solva

No pest control case yet, two real local businesses instead

We have not worked with a pest control company. These are two local service businesses in Sweden where we built the website and SEO, and in one case booking and an online store. Neither had the full Growth package, so there are no ad results to show.

Lighthouse performance (desktop)

A repair shop that offers everything from oil changes to wheel alignment, but had five pages online that Google could barely read. We rebuilt the site with a page for each service and a booking flow, and the shop manages appointments and reviews in its own admin panel.

  • From five pages to around 95, one for each service
  • Online booking with confirmation by email and text message
  • The homepage scores 98 for performance and 100 for SEO in Lighthouse (desktop)

Key cutting & shoe repair

services, each with a clear section: car keys, house keys, shoe repair, dry cleaning

A key cutting and shoe repair shop in Uppsala with more than 20 years of experience and no professional website. We built a site with a clear section for each service, and the SEO focused on local searches such as “car key Uppsala”.

  • Strong positions on Google for local keywords
  • More calls and enquiries after the launch
  • A clear online presence that matches the shop’s reputation

What it could look like for a pest control company

Examples of how we would set it up. Your proposal is based on the pests you treat, the towns you cover and the work you want more of.

Website structure (example)

One page per pest or service you want to be found for, each with how you treat it, what the customer should expect and a button to book an inspection.

  • Termite inspection and treatment
  • Rodent control
  • Bed bug treatment
  • Ants and wasps
  • Quarterly home protection plans

Seasonal campaigns (example)

Search ads for problems where someone wants help now, and campaigns that start before each pest season instead of in the middle of it.

  • Search: “wasp nest removal”, “termite inspection near me”
  • Spring and summer: ants, termites and stinging insects
  • Fall: rodents moving indoors
  • Meta and text messages: offering a recurring plan to past one-time customers

Inspection booking (example)

The customer picks the problem and a time on the page they landed on, and gets a confirmation right away. Urgent cases can still call you directly.

  • Time slots that match your technicians’ capacity
  • Confirmation by email and text message
  • Bookings in your Google Calendar

What’s included, and what isn’t

Everything below is written into your proposal before you sign.

Included in Growth

  • Custom website with one page per pest and service
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile
  • Google and Meta ads, run and improved by us
  • Inspection booking synced with Google Calendar
  • Social posts from your photos and video, in an agreed amount
  • DM replies on Instagram and Facebook in agreed flows
  • Newsletters, text messages and review requests
  • A report and a meeting every month

Not included

  • Ad spend: what you pay Google and Meta is separate from our fee
  • AI chatbot, AI phone assistant that takes calls, sales pipeline and lead scoring (those are in our Expansion package)
  • Replacing your routing or field service software
  • Separate pages for every town you cover: a town only gets its own page when there is real content for it
  • Unlimited content: the amount is set in your proposal

What we need from you

  • Photos and video from jobs, your trucks and your team
  • The pests and services you treat, and which work you want more of
  • The towns you cover and how many inspections you can take per week
  • Access to your Google Business Profile, or we set one up in your name

What it costs

We don’t publish one price, because the work depends on your services, your area and how much advertising you want. Your proposal specifies exactly what we deliver each month, your implementation fee, and any separate advertising or usage costs.

Monthly fee
A fixed monthly price for the work listed in your proposal. It does not mean unlimited ads or unlimited content.
Ad spend
What you pay Google and Meta for the ads is separate from our fee. The proposal says how much we recommend for your market.
Getting started
Whether setup costs extra, and how much. If it does, it is a one-time amount stated before you sign.
Content
How many posts, videos and newsletters we produce each month. The scope is set in the proposal.
What we need from you
Photos and video from your jobs, and when we need them.
Canceling
No long-term contract. You cancel with one month’s notice, and your domain, website, content, Google Business Profile and data stay in your name.

What we measure

More clicks are not the goal, and a busy June does not tell you whether customers stay on a plan. Every month we report where booked inspections came from and what they cost, and you tell us which work is worth more of.

  • Calls, form requests and online bookings, by source
  • Cost per booked inspection from ads
  • Searches and map views on Google, by month
  • New Google reviews

Questions pest control owners ask us

How do you market a pest control company?

Be visible where homeowners look when the problem shows up: Google search and the map results. That means a page for each pest and service, a complete Google Business Profile with recent reviews, search ads that start before each season, and an easy way to book an inspection. After the job, follow up so one-time customers have a reason to sign up for regular service.

How much does pest control marketing cost?

It depends on how many services and towns you cover and how much advertising you want, so we don’t publish one price. After a free review you get a written proposal with a fixed monthly fee for the listed work. Ad spend is paid separately, and the proposal states any setup fee.

Do I own the website and the accounts?

Yes. The domain, the website, the content, your Google Business Profile and your data are in your name from the start, and they stay with you if you cancel.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. There is no minimum term, and you cancel with one month’s notice.

You’re based in Sweden. Can you work with a pest control company in the US?

Yes. We work remotely and meet over video. Sweden is six to nine hours ahead of US time zones, so calls usually happen in your morning, and we reply within 24 hours on weekdays.

How fast will we see results?

Ads can bring calls soon after they go live. SEO and the map results take longer, usually months, and depend on your area and competitors. That is why we start seasonal campaigns well before the season, and we can’t promise a ranking or a number of jobs in advance.
