Auto repair shop marketing

Marketing for auto repair shops: website, local SEO and ads

Drivers search for the job they need done, like brake repair or an AC check, not for your shop’s name. We build a site that answers those searches, lets people book a time online, and run the local SEO and ads that bring them there. One package, one contact, one invoice.

  • Fixed monthly price, in writing
  • You own the site and accounts
  • No long-term contract
  • Reply within 24 hours

AutoXtra, a repair shop in Sweden: a service page and online booking we built.

Who this is for

Independent auto repair shops and tire shops with one or a few locations that want more booked jobs from drivers nearby. You do the work; we handle how people find you, book you and come back. It is not built for dealerships or national chains with their own marketing departments.

Three jobs stand between you and a full schedule

Getting found, turning visits into booked jobs and bringing customers back. Growth takes all three, so the bays stay busy and you stay in the shop.

5 → 95
pages, one for each service the garage offersAutoXtra, Sweden
  1. Getting found

Drivers search for “brake repair” or “check engine light” near them, not for your shop’s name.

    • A custom website with a page for each job you do
    • Local SEO and your Google Business Profile, for the map results near your shop
    • Google and Meta ads aimed at the jobs you want more of
    Handled by Solva
  2. Turning visits into booked jobs

Calls come in while everyone is under a car, and the driver who wanted to book on Sunday evening never calls back.

    • Online booking synced with your Google Calendar
    • Posts from photos and video of your work, in an agreed amount each month
    • DM replies on Instagram and Facebook, in flows we agree on with you
    Handled by Solva
  3. Bringing customers back

Oil changes and seasonal tire swaps come back every year, but nobody reminds the customer or asks for a review.

    • Review requests after every finished job
    • Newsletters and text messages for seasonal work
    Handled by Solva

Two real repair shops, honestly labeled

We don’t have a US client yet. These are two garages in Sweden where we built the website, booking, online store and SEO. Neither had the full Growth package, so there are no ad results to show.

Car repair garage

~95
service pages, up from five
98
Lighthouse performance (desktop)

The old site had five pages and Google could barely read it. We rebuilt it with a page for each service, a booking flow that starts from the car’s registration number, and an admin panel where the garage manages appointments and reviews.

  • From five pages to around 95, one for each service
  • Online booking with confirmation by email and text message
  • A tire store where customers search by registration number and pay by card

15,800
tires in the store on the first sync

A tire and service garage in Stockholm that had a single page. We built a page for each service, neighborhood pages that are only published once they have real content of their own, and a tire store with booking and card payment.

  • A tire store with around 15,800 tires, search by registration number and card payment
  • Fixed-price services can be paid for when the customer books
  • One page per service, seven neighborhood pages and 13 guides

What it looks like for a repair shop

Examples of how we would set it up. Your proposal is based on your services, your area and the jobs you want more of.

Website structure

One page per job you want to be found for, each with what it includes, how long it takes and a booking button.

  • Brake repair
  • Oil change and servicing
  • Check engine light and diagnostics
  • AC repair
  • Tires and alignment

Ad campaigns

Search ads for jobs where someone is ready to book, and seasonal campaigns timed to when the work comes in.

  • Search: “brake repair near me”, “check engine light”
  • Seasonal: AC checks before summer, tire swaps before winter
  • Meta: reminders to past customers

Booking

Customers choose the service and a time on the page they landed on, and get a confirmation right away.

  • Times that match your bay capacity
  • Confirmation by email and text message
  • Bookings in your Google Calendar

What’s included, and what isn’t

Everything below is written into your proposal before you sign.

Included in Growth

  • Custom website with one page per service
  • Local SEO and Google Business Profile
  • Google and Meta ads, run and improved by us
  • Online booking synced with Google Calendar
  • Social posts from your photos and video, in an agreed amount
  • DM replies on Instagram and Facebook in agreed flows
  • Newsletters, text messages and review requests
  • A report and a meeting every month

Not included

  • Ad spend: what you pay Google and Meta is separate from our fee
  • AI chatbot, AI phone assistant and sales pipeline (those are in our Expansion package)
  • Replacing your shop management software
  • Unlimited content: the amount is set in your proposal

What we need from you

  • Photos and video from your shop and your work
  • Your list of services, and which jobs you want more of
  • Opening hours and how many bookings you can take
  • Access to your Google Business Profile, or we set one up in your name

What it costs

We don’t publish one price, because the work depends on your services, your area and how much advertising you want. Your proposal specifies exactly what we deliver each month, your implementation fee, and any separate advertising or usage costs.

Monthly fee
A fixed monthly price for the work listed in your proposal. It does not mean unlimited ads or unlimited content.
Ad spend
What you pay Google and Meta for the ads is separate from our fee. The proposal says how much we recommend for your market.
Getting started
Whether setup costs extra, and how much. If it does, it is a one-time amount stated before you sign.
Content
How many posts, videos and newsletters we produce each month. The scope is set in the proposal.
What we need from you
Photos and video from your jobs, and when we need them.
Canceling
No long-term contract. You cancel with one month’s notice, and your domain, website, content, Google Business Profile and data stay in your name.

What we measure

More clicks are not the goal, and more enquiries don’t automatically mean more profit. Every month we report where booked jobs came from and what they cost, and you tell us which jobs are worth more of.

  • Calls, form requests and online bookings, by source
  • Cost per booked job from ads
  • Searches and map views on Google
  • New Google reviews

Questions shop owners ask us

How do you advertise an auto repair shop?

Start where drivers already look: Google search and the map results. That means a page for each job you do, a complete Google Business Profile with recent reviews, and search ads for the jobs where someone is ready to book. Meta ads work best for reminding past customers about seasonal work.

What are the best marketing strategies for an auto repair shop?

Be findable for each job, make booking easy, and keep in touch after the visit. In practice: service pages that answer what drivers search for, online booking, review requests after every job, and reminders for oil changes and seasonal tire work.

How much does auto repair shop marketing cost?

It depends on how many services and locations you have and how much advertising you want, so we don’t publish one price. After a free review you get a written proposal with a fixed monthly fee for the listed work. Ad spend is paid separately, and the proposal states any setup fee.

Do I own the website and the accounts?

Yes. The domain, the website, the content, your Google Business Profile and your data are in your name from the start, and they stay with you if you cancel.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. There is no minimum term, and you cancel with one month’s notice.

You’re based in Sweden. Can you work with a shop in the US?

Yes. We work remotely and meet over video. Sweden is six to nine hours ahead of US time zones, so calls usually happen in your morning, and we reply within 24 hours on weekdays.
