SK Gummi · Tyres & car service in Stockholm
SK Gummi: tyres by registration number, prices including fitting and online booking
Skärholmens Gummiverkstad has changed tyres and serviced cars on Ekholmsvägen since 2001. We built a new site where customers enter their registration number, see which tyres fit with fitting included in the price, and book a time.

About SK Gummi
SK Gummi, Skärholmens Gummiverkstad, is at Ekholmsvägen 231 in Skärholmen in southern Stockholm. The garage changes and stores tyres, sells new tyres and rims, does servicing, brakes and timing belts, and washes and valets cars. It has been at the same address since 2001.
On Google, the garage has an average rating of 4.7 from 140 reviews (September 2026).
The starting point
The old site was a single page built as a React app, and search engine crawlers got an empty page. The garage does seasonal wheel changes, tyre storage, servicing and valeting and sells tyres, but none of the services had its own page that Google could show to people searching.
Someone who googles tyre changes, tyre storage or winter tyres gets pages about exactly that. A site with a single page does not show up in those searches.
Before
- A single page
- An empty page for Google
- No service pages
- No booking, no shop
After
- 21 service pages, 7 neighbourhood pages, 13 guides
- Ready-made HTML that Google reads straight away
- Online booking with card payment
- A tyre shop with stock from the wholesaler
The goal
We set three goals together with the garage:
- Show up on Google for every service and in the neighbourhoods around Skärholmen.
- Let customers buy tyres with fitting and book a time without calling.
- Give the garage one place to manage bookings, tyre orders and prices.
What we built
We built the site in Astro, on the same foundation as AutoXtra, and adapted it for a tyre garage in Stockholm. Work started in September 2026.
A page for every service
The site has 21 service pages under three areas: tyres and rims, car servicing and valeting. Wheel changes, tyre storage, balancing, brakes, timing belts, exhaust systems and full valeting each have their own page. The tyre storage page, for example, shows the price, how long it takes, what is included and a booking button.
- 11pages about tyres and rims
- 7about car servicing
- 3about valeting
- 7neighbourhood pages
- 13guides
- 1price page with every service

Neighbourhood pages with their own content
Seven pages target people looking for a wheel change nearby: Bredäng, Fruängen, Huddinge, Kungens kurva, Sätra, Segeltorp and Vårberg. The Bredäng page, for example, describes the route to the garage and how long it takes. A page is only published once it has at least 400 words of its own content, so none of them becomes a copy of another with a new place name.

A tyre shop with prices including fitting
The tyre shop pulls its range from the wholesaler Amring every hour. On the first run there were around 15,800 tyres. Customers search by registration number or tyre size, see the EU tyre label and the price including fitting, choose a time and pay by card. The shop went live on 21 September 2026.

Booking in two minutes
Booking has three steps: service, time and details. The customer gets a confirmation by email and text message and can cancel online themselves. Fixed-price services can be paid for by card when the customer books. After the visit, the customer gets a text message with a link to leave a review.

Clear prices
The price page lists what wheel changes, tyre storage and the other services cost, with a button to continue on every row. The garage changes prices, services and its mark-up on tyres in its admin panel, where it also manages the calendar, bookings, tyre enquiries, tyre orders and promotional banners.

Guides and technical SEO
The 13 guides answer questions car owners google, such as when you have to switch to winter tyres, what tread depth is required and what a tyre change costs in Stockholm. The site has structured data for the garage, the services, the prices and the FAQs. New pages are reported to search engines straight away with IndexNow.

The result
SK Gummi went from a single page to a site where every service and seven neighbourhoods have their own pages, where customers can buy tyres with fitting and book a time around the clock, and where the garage controls prices and bookings itself.

Questions about the project
How do customers know which tyres fit their car?
They enter their registration number. The site looks up the car and shows tyres in the right size. Anyone who knows their tyre size can search by that instead.
Is fitting included in the price?
Yes. The price in the shop includes fitting, and the customer chooses a time for the fitting when buying the tyres.
How often is the tyre stock updated?
Every hour. The range comes from the wholesaler Amring.
Can customers pay when they book?
Yes, for fixed-price services. Other services are paid for at the garage.
Can you build the same thing for our garage?
Yes. AutoXtra in Uppsala has the same foundation with booking, a tyre shop and an admin panel. Book a meeting and we will go through what your garage needs.
